Super nice guesthouse. The perfect place to rest after a jungle trek. The place is very quiet and beautiful, by the river. The room was confortable and clean. 15 min walk from the city center. The hosts are very friendly and helful. July cooks a wonderful pumpkin cury.

We had a really great time at the Asim Paris guesthouse! The idyllic landscape and the peace and quiet that we were able to enjoy in this place, right in nature, was wonderful! The staff were super friendly and helped us with all of our questions, transfers, etc.😊 A special highlight was the 2-day jungle track with Dian and Andi☀️ They made the tour so great and we were able to see and learn so much, really only recommended!!
The breakfast and dinner tasted particularly good thanks to the fresh cuisine. The beautiful evenings with musical accompaniment were also great!
We would always recommend it and look forward to our next visit☀️

What can I say… Asim Paris Guesthouse provides not just excellent service to its guests, but a wonderful atmosphere. The staff will go above and beyond for you, providing exceptional hospitality and excursions such as BBQ’s, rafting, trecking and whatever else you can imagine. The staff especially make this place so special, they are more than accommodating- they are your good friends. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Comfort, compassion, kindness and laughter is at the route of their professionalism. I could not recommend this place enough, you must stay here.

Lovely family owned guesthouse ran by locals. Andy is the best possible guide for jungle trekking and his brother Deeka is such a kind an integer host. Always with a smile, at the heart of Sumatra jungle in Gunung Leuser National Park.

Newly built accommodation. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The young owner who is 21 years of age is a nice man, but needs to learn how to become a proper host quickly. We encountered a few issues;

- electricity connection is faulty. There would often be hours without any electric. The fan would stop/start throughout the night. Wi fi is also affected
- currently building a restaurant meaning disruptive noise throughout the day. Unable to relax at the accommodation because of this
- the accommodation is far from the nearest shop and restaurants
- charged to leave bags overnight when jungle trekking even though we were returning to the accommodation the following night

A courtesy message following our booking to explain the current building works would of been appreciated. It’s got potential to improve its offering and wish him the best of luck with his new business.

It is a beautiful place next to the river. It is very quiet and peaceful without the noise of the village. If you want to go to the village, you can always ask the staff. They are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

the hotel is very good. it has no recommendations because it is new. but the location is so beautiful. it's directly on the river and very quiet. Directly in the town it is very loud and we wasn't able to sleep after 5 a clock, because of very loud motorbikes and the moscue. it is easy to walk in the town (15 minutes).
the breakfast is very delicious and the rooms very good. Especially the guys who take care of the hotel Andy and Digga are amazing friendly. One day we asked them if it would be possible, to do a barbecue at the night and they can join us if they want. yes it was possible and they did so much for us. Andy went with us to a fresh fish and a vegetable shop to buy things. On this way he showed us a plastic Projekt of the village and cutted 2 fresh young coconuts from a tree in a garden. When we arrived back they did the fire and did barbecue for us. when everything was finished, we ate together and spoke a lot together.
on the next day he drove us for free to the bus station and helped us there.
So it was a very nice evening and we enjoyed our stay!
